Changing the home page slide show
The slide show on the home page contains two elements, the image and the description, which are in two different locations.
To update a slide show image...
The slide show images are located in this folder: /slideshow
The slide show images are named in this fashion: rotateImage1.jpg through rotateImage6.jpg
The slide show image file name is case sensitive.
To update one of the exisiting 6 images, replace the respective image file with a new image.
New images should be prepared at a size of 400 x 282 pixels with a resolution of 72 dpi.
To update a slide show description...
The slide show descriptions are contained in the home page .html file, located here: /index.html
The file is very "sensitive" to captilization and punctuation. As a precautionary menu, it is recommended to make a backup copy of the last working menu.js file before proceed with any changes. To do this in Dreamweaver, right-click on the file name and select Edit > Duplicate. By default, the backup copy will be called "Copy of index.html".
There are two parts to the description. First, is the verbose description and second is the short title. Use Dreamweaver's code view to change both the long description and the short title, as shown below. Be care to work within the single quotation marks.
