Over
20 clubs and organizations offer students a wide variety of opportunities
to expand their talents and skills outside of the classroom. Whether it
is judging livestock, competing in "Techies Day," producing
our annual, The Kernel, or performing in one of our many musical
performances, our students are never left wondering what to do with their
time. We actively encourage our students to form new organizations to
support their interests. We are especially proud of our visual and performing
arts activities, where thousands of community members are treated to shows
each year. |

Student athletes have full three-season interscholastic sports schedules on our 17 varsity and junior varsity teams. As members of the Southern Chester County League, Oxford athletes have seen much success in the past and continue to this day. Our teams are supported by active boosters organizations and benefit from a community committed to Hornet athletics

We offer a wide variety of required and elective courses ranging from introductory world languages (French, Spanish and Latin) to Advanced Placement courses (US History, Calculus, English and Biology). We are currently expanding our Advanced Placement program, adding a new course each year. Students with special needs receive either individual placement instruction or, in the case of most of our students, instruction in the regular classroom. In some of our core classrooms, we have scheduled both a regular educator and a learning support teacher to provide diverse instruction to meet our students' needs. As we prepare to move to our new. Our new buliding affords us greater opportunity to expand upon "Career Pathways," our schoolwide career education program. The Oxford Area High School community is proud of its accomplishments in academics, athletics, and extra-curricular activities. We are eager to build on these accomplishments as we move further into the twenty-first century. |
