OAHS Guidance Dept. sponsors College and Career Planning Night
The Oxford Area High School Guidance Office invites students in grades nine to 11 and their parents to the annual College and Career Planning Night on Thursday, March 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the school located at 705 Waterway Road in East Nottingham. The program will start in the auditorium, and afterwards students and parents will have opportunities to meet with representatives from a variety of post-secondary schools and programs.
Representatives from colleges and universities including Bloomsburg University, Penn State, the University of Delaware, the University of Alabama, St. Joseph's University, Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, Goldey Beacom College and many more will be on hand to offer tips about admission to your college of choice. Additionally, the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency will offer information about financial aid, and there will be a program on SAT/ACT preparation.
