  • Cable TV Channel 68
  • www.oxford.k12.pa.us
DO NOT CALL THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OFFICES UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. UNNECESSARY CALLS TIE UP OUR TELEPHONE LINES AND STAFF AT A CRITICAL TIME WHEN IMPORTANT CALLS MUST BE MADE.

LATE OPENING

Late openings will also be announced over the radio or television stations listed above. Late openings will be one hour late or two hours late. Buses will arrive one hour or two hours later than their normal arrival time depending on the extent of the late opening. PLEASE DO NOT CALL DISTRICT OFFICES UNLESS IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.

EARLY DISMISSAL

Should it become necessary to close schools and dismiss students early, announcements will be made over the radio and television stations listed above. PARENTS ARE AGAIN ASKED NOT TO CALL DISTRICT OFFICES. Parents are also asked to refrain from driving into the district to pick up students unless absolutely necessary. The additional traffic can cause problems for buses attempting to complete their rounds under very trying conditions.

ACTIVITIES

Unless otherwise indicated, extracurricular activities will be canceled on days when schools are closed or if schools are closed early.
